Dear Parents,
Please come to the Curriculum Celebration on Thursday, May 12th. We will meet together in room B-4 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with future teacher meet and greet from 8:00-8:30. Dinner will be available from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30p.m for those interested in coming.
During this evening's presentation, I will share important aspects of the literacy curriculum we covered, as well as have your children's literacy work on display for them to share with you. Items you may see are the writing assignment your child feels most proud of, books they have written, as well as examples of books your child has read this year and our reading book series. I will also have the chance to share with you the results of the reading inventory. The results of this screening help identify the strengths and weakness of each child. I would like to thank you for being my teammate this year in providing your child the best education possible.
After visiting our room, you will also have time to visit your child's future classroom and meet the teacher. You may ask any questions you may have. You will also receive the summer packet of fun activities for your child to use to keep their skills sharp.
